flowers from a greenhouse

I love taking pictures of flowers almost as much as I do bridges :) these were taken at an Amish farm in Wisconsin. They had a greenhouse that was full of blooming flowers. It was really awesome to meet them and get to see their house.

sunlight

I love taking pictures of the sun! I hope it's not bad for my camera. My favorite part of this picture is the color. I love the glare and the spots of color that the sun creates. I don't remember where I took this picture, but it was some time during the summer.

rocks on a mountain

This picture I took in Colorado on top of these mountains in Grand Junction. The rocks were actually stacked when we got out there. My brother added another one. The distance in the background might be my favorite part of this photo. We were on top of a cliff that surrounded a valley. So the mountains in the distance are about the same hight as the one we were on. This picture reminds me of how massive theses mountains are, yet they are all made with rocks. God is amazing and I think that he uses creation to teach us things. I feel so safe thinking that I am like a rock in a big mountain that God has created. Although I am small, God has created me to be a part of something that is so great I can hardly imagine it.

mountainous scene

Another Colorado photo! Colorado is so beautiful. I love the shadows on this mountain. The lines from the clouds and the mountains in the background make this picture one of my favorites. This was taken in the summer.

clear sky

This is another picture from the Rocky Mountain National Forest in Colorado. I loved how clear the air was up there. This was taken about the middle of the summer. I also love the way the clouds look. They look lower to the ground because we were so high up in the mountains.

bridge

Another bridge! My favorite part of this photograph is the angle. Bridges are hard to capture on camera, so the angle is important. I love the structure of bridges. This picture was taken down town in my home town.

pink flowers

This photo is from a garden in Colorado. It is the most beautiful garden! I actually have lots of pictures from it. The sunlight is my favorite part of this picture. It really makes the flowers look bright with color. This picture was taken in the middle of summer.

senior pictures

These are a few of the pictures I took for Danny's senior pictures. I like the one with the bridge :) But I also like the one in the tunnel because of the lighting. These were both taken downtown in my home town about 11 in the morning.

Hooch

Not sure why I love this picture so much. My grandmother took me out to the farm where she grew up to take pictures. This big farm dog came out from underneath the barn. I do not have the best experiences with dog (our little dog and I do not get along). But this was this was the friendliest dog! He was so friendly that this was the only picture I was able to get of him at a distance. This dogs name was Hooch by the way.

silk effect

This photo I took while on vacation in colorado. This is at the Rocky Mountain National Forest in Colorado. I was trying to get the silk effect on the waterfall.  The silk effect is an effect that makes the water thats falling look like silk. To get it you have to have a long exposure and good lighting. It seems like I still need some practice. Anyways, I really liked the way this photo turned out.

road trip

I took this picture while I was traveling with my family during the holidays a few years ago. Bridges are fun to photograph to me because they are so massive. My favorite part of this picture is the way the lighting is effected by the contrast.

after the rain

MN columbine after a rain

I am always taking pictures and I love to capture moments in time with my camera. My friends and fans keep telling me to share my pictures with others. So, I started this blog! This picture was published when I was in high school. It's a picture of some Columbines after a rain storm in my grandmothers garden. It was taken in the late afternoon.
