rocks on a mountain
This picture I took in Colorado on top of these mountains in Grand Junction. The rocks were actually stacked when we got out there. My brother added another one. The distance in the background might be my favorite part of this photo. We were on top of a cliff that surrounded a valley. So the mountains in the distance are about the same hight as the one we were on. This picture reminds me of how massive theses mountains are, yet they are all made with rocks. God is amazing and I think that he uses creation to teach us things. I feel so safe thinking that I am like a rock in a big mountain that God has created. Although I am small, God has created me to be a part of something that is so great I can hardly imagine it.

Hooch
Not sure why I love this picture so much. My grandmother took me out to the farm where she grew up to take pictures. This big farm dog came out from underneath the barn. I do not have the best experiences with dog (our little dog and I do not get along). But this was this was the friendliest dog! He was so friendly that this was the only picture I was able to get of him at a distance. This dogs name was Hooch by the way.

silk effect
This photo I took while on vacation in colorado. This is at the Rocky Mountain National Forest in Colorado. I was trying to get the silk effect on the waterfall. The silk effect is an effect that makes the water thats falling look like silk. To get it you have to have a long exposure and good lighting. It seems like I still need some practice. Anyways, I really liked the way this photo turned out.
